FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS
HOLY BIBLE – THE WORD OF GOD
We should not convert nor preach another gospel than that the apostles preached to us (Gal. 1:6-10)
Do not add or subtract from the Word
The Holy Bible is our infallible and all-sufficient guide for the faith and practice. The Scriptures both the 39 canonical books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament are the only written work inspired of God and proclaims God’s virtues, His will and His eternal plan for man (1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Tim. 3:15-17, 2 Pet. 1:21).
Mark of the Beast
THE ONE TRUE GOD - TRINITY
We believe in one God, the Father,Almighty and All Wise, without a Beginning and End, Creator of all things, visible and invisible. God is Spirit.
We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty, without beginning, eternal, the Word of God, the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested unto us, true God, Father of the age to come, the wisdom of God. All things were created by Him and by Him all things consist
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of glory, the Paraclete, true God and Lord, Who searches everything, even the deep things of God the Father and leads us
We do not believe in three Gods or three Lords, but in one Triune God, who acts everything and always through His Word in Holy Spirit. The Father is not the Word (Logos), nor the Word is the Holy Spirit, but each one person in the Godhead acts in perfect unity and harmony, because ‘‘God is love.’’
Η ΘΕΟΤΗΤΑ ΤΟΥ ΚΥΡΙΟΥ ΙΗΣΟΥ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥ
God through His word in Holy Spirit became man. Without controversy this is a great mystery
When our Lord Jesus Christ was born in this world had God as Father because He is the only begotten Son of God
The Virgin Mary was the mother of Jesus Christ according to the flesh and so He became and Son of man. He is therefore, acknowledged to be both God and man; Who because is God and man is ‘‘Immanuel’’ God with us
The Lord Jesus Christ as Son of man “was made a little lower than the angels”
Christ proclaims that ‘‘My Father is greater than I ’’
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He lived a sinless life on earth
He performed miracles
He offered Himself on the cross a substitute for us and died
On the third day He rose again bodily from the dead
He was exalted by the right hand of God
He will come again with glory to receive His church unto Himself
He will judge the world in righteousness
THE END AND THE ABOLITION OF THE LAW OF THE OLD TESTMENT
The Law of the Old Testament, the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones
Transgressed by the fathers of the Israelites, and God promised to make an everlasting New Testament, to be written on the hearts of the people
Christ is the end of the law
Law has died
The law is passed away
The veil of blindness is present when the Old Testament is read, which is done away in Christ. When one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away
The law of commandments has been abolished
blotted out and nailed to His cross
Of necessity there is change made also of the law because there is an annulling of the former commandment
and vanished away
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse
So Christ said: “I come to do thy will, O God”. He takes away the first that He may establish the second by His body on the cross
The book of the Old Testament is the Word given by God, but as a law was in force till the coming of Jesus Christ, on Whom the law was fulfilled, and after His death on the cross with His blood the law of the Old Testament came to an end and there came in force the New Testament, the law of faith
the law of the Spirit of life in Jesus Christ
the perfect and royal law of liberty
Ο ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΣ – ΠΝΕΥΜΑ, ΨΥΧΗ ΚΑΙ ΣΩΜΑ
Man was formed in God’s image and likeness
having three hypostasis, spirit, soul and body, which must be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
The body, the outward man, formed by earth, will perish and return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God, who gave it. This is the first death, the departure of the soul from the body
The soul and the spirit which is the inward and real man, have all the properties of one’s character. This is the one that lives in eternity, either in God’s kingdom, if one has repented, has been preserved blameless and whose name is written in the book of life
If one has not repented and has not been preserved blameless will be judged at the final judgment according to their works and cast into the lake of fire, this is the second death the eternal separation of the soul from the presence of God
Eternal separation of the soul from the presence of God
THE FALL OF MAN
Man is the crown of God’s work and the object of His love
Man was created in God’s image and likeness and given dominion over all the earth and every living thing
However, man by voluntary transgression through disobedience to the Word of God fell in sin and suffered not only the physical death, but also the spiritual death, which is the separation from God
THE SALVATION OF MAN
God out of love offered man the only way of salvation, His only begotten son Jesus Christ the only one Savior
Salvation is obtained through repentance toward God and faith toward the accomplished word of our Lord Jesus Christ
Then the wonderful miracle of the new birth takes place and man becomes child of God, a new creature, an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life
Receives the inner assurance of salvation
and walks in a new life of true righteousness and holiness
CONFESSION
It is done by the repentant sinner in public
or privately
in order to receive forgiveness from the only one Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ
BAPTISM IN WATER
As soon as one is born again is to be baptized (immersion of the whole body) in water in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord commanded
Indispensable requirement for one to be baptized in water, is to have believed in Jesus and to His Gospel and to have repented from ones sin
Therefore, baptism is being performed to men and women that are in a status to believe and to repent
Through baptism one is buried with Christ into death and declares to the world that one has died with Christ: “that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life”
HOLY COMMUNION/EUCHARIST
Must be done precisely as our Lord Jesus Christ did
Delivered to the Apostles
The wine and the bread become body and blood of Jesus spiritually, through the faith
The Holy Communion is to be taken every Sunday
By all those who have truly repented from their sins and have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior
The eating of the unleavened bread and the drinking of the wine is the communion of the body and blood of Jesus Christ
During the Lord’s Supper we remember again the unique sacrifice of Christ on the Cross for our salvation and we declare that we believe on His Second Coming
The Lord’s Supper is a fellowship of love unity and forgiveness within the church
HOLINESS AND THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Sanctification is an act of separation from every kind of sin and dedication unto God, a life of ‘‘holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord’’. The Word of God teaches and admonishes us to live a blameless life in this present world, which can only be obtained through the complete obedience to the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit
Every one who has his hope in Him purifies him self, just as He is pure
Together with the sanctification the fruit of the Holy Spirit must be evident in one’s life, a testimony that Christ is living within the believer
The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God, neither fornicators, idolaters, adulterous, homosexuals, sodomites, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners, sorcerers, sexual immoral, ravishers, murders, cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, etc
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
Soon after the experience of the new birth the Christian should fervently seek and wait for the promise of the Father, the gift of the Holy Spirit to be endured with power from on high, as the first Apostles received on the day of Pentecost and all the first Christians of the first Apostolic church
The second worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit, characterized in the Bible as the “latter rain”. Our Savior Jesus Christ Himself is the only one qualified to baptize a man “with the Holy Spirit and fire”
With it the Christian receives the power to lead a holy life and to work for the Lord
The outward proof that one has been baptized in the Holy Spirit is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance
GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Soon after the baptism in the Holy Spirit the believers should ask for the gifts of the Holy Spirit
In order to live a victorious charismatic life. There are nine gifts and the Spirit divides them to the believers as He will
THE CHURCH
God dwells in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite heart and humble spirit, in the praises of His people and in the one that keeps His word
God does not dwell, nor is He worshiped in temples made with men’s hands
The leader of the church is our Savior Jesus Christ Himself and the people serving Him are considered His bondservants. The church must not have any dependence direct or indirect from any organization and is autocephalus (self-government) and part of the worldwide Church of Christ, which is composed of the ‘‘nations of them which are saved’’
Using the Holy Bible as guide has the power, the simplicity, the mentality and the practices of the first Apostolic church that never adopted musical instruments or any other artificial method for the elevation of the sentiment but were living a holy and victorious life via the filling of the Holy Spirit.
The constitution of the Church is the Holy Bible, especially the New Testament, the Gospel of Jesus Christ (the authentic Greek text) as written by the Apostles (the King James version for the English speaking people) and believes that “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”
MINISTRIES, ELDERS, DEACONS IN THE CHURCH
The Lord provides His Church with five ministries “apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, (only men not women) for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”
Each individual church is governed by the pastor and the elders, who are also called bishops
The pastor and the elders must be married to one wife, to have good families with faithful children, and to have all the qualifications described in the Word of God
They look after the spiritual needs of the church and give themselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word of God
The pastor of the church, like the rest of the ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists and teachers) is appointed directly by the Lord and is for life, whereas the elders are chosen by the pastor to be his co-workers
In the church also serve the deacons (both male and female) looking mainly after the material needs of the church and after the needs of the poor. The deacons are to have the same qualifications as the elders and are chosen directly from the body of the church
In the Holy Bible there are not mentioned and there is not any provision for archbishops or metropolitans or any rank of reverends or any other ministry.
THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE CHURCH AND MODESTY
Regarding the salvation of the soul ‘‘there is neither male nor female,’’ since all need to repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior
Within each family though, the Word of God defines the relationship between the husband and the wife, reflecting the relationship of the Lord and His Church
The cornerstone of the blessed and harmonious Christian family life. Within the Church, which is a large spiritual family, the role of each one is even more precisely defined, so that order and not confusion may prevail.

The Word of God describes also how the Christian woman should be dressed
“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God”
“If a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him. But if a woman has a long hair, it is a glory to her ;”
Α′. β′. 12). β)
DIVINE HEALING AND ANOINTING WITH OIL
In the Holy Bible we learn that there are three ways through which we can obtain divine healing:
a) Through the personal faith of the believer
b) Through the gifts of healing which the Lord has trusted to one of His servants
c) Through the prayer of the elders of the church after they have anointed the sick believer with oil in the name of the Lord, after the believer has confessed his/her sins
Divine healing is part of the Gospel, a privilege of all the believers and is provided by the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross “and by His stripes we are healed”
COLLECTION FOR THE WORK OF THE LORD
Each member of the church contributes to the needs of the church free-willingly, ‘‘for God loveth a cheerful giver’’
Contributions are collected each Sunday
The church does not claim tithes, which is a practice belonging to the Old Testament
Every believer is encouraged to offer voluntarily to the necessities of the saints and the needs of the work of the Lord
MARRIAGE
Marriage is a holy institution which God laid down in the garden of Eden and our Lord Jesus Christ personally blessed and must be honored according to the Gospel
The parents ought to help their children economically/materially when they get married
Divorce is disastrous for the individual, the family, the society and is harmful to the work of God.
Only the death can separate the married couple
